Funasset and IDS Solution Wins Award for UK Mail

imail, developed and managed by Funasset and IDS, enables UK Mail to win Growth Award at this year’s World Mail Awards

UK Mail, one of the largest express delivery companies in the UK, was presented with the Growth Award at the 2013 World Mail Awards. The award was received due to the continued growth and success of their imail hybrid mail solution developed and managed by Funasset and IDS.

imail allows organisations to post letters and other correspondence from the convenience of their computer and mail composition systems. UK Mail receives an electronic version of the mail prior to printing, finishing and handing it over to the Royal Mail for delivery. The solution saves users time and money, and helps to reduce their carbon footprint.

Andy Barber, General Manager for imail at UK Mail, comments: “I am thrilled to have collected this award on behalf of UK Mail, in particular the imail team. We print and mail more than 20 million client letters and postcards annually and this award is testament to UK Mail’s ability to deliver bespoke solutions quickly and cost effectively.”

Mark Dowson, Managing Director of Funasset and IDS states: “We consider our expertise, dedication and professionalism to be a large part of why imail enabled UK Mail to win the award. Since 2008 our development and support team have worked hard to make imail the success that it is and we look forward to helping UK Mail grow the solution further.”
